Pride's Touch of Satin, "we call her babe" is
the first mare I purchased when putting together our program.
She is not a giant horse she stands 14.3, but she has a nice big
walk to her, with a driving back end a quality she passes on to
her babies. She placed well in the ribbons the only year
she was shown. Receiving her Honor Roll in E-Z Rider in
1998. We cleaned up at the NILE. She was shown at a
couple of shows in Washington and did really well.

Sharon Petersen of Priest River has shown
Pride's Touch of Satin to some satiny smooth rides in the E-Z
Rider division, picking up many points in this division.
The Model Division has been another event in which this team
garnered points and excelled. |

Our first foal out of her is Black Velvet And Lace, she has
done an awesome job in the ring and out. She is the kind of
horse anyone can ride, with a great
disposition, a characteristic I attribute to the mare. The
second filly out of Babe is Gen's
Major Babe, out of
Gen's Major General.
She is a beautiful two year old that I hope to have in the ring
this spring, she has a lot of get up and go to her. This is where
we get confusing, the two year old we call Major Babe and her
mother is just Babe. Babe likes to look pretty. Whenever I
have the clippers out she comes around I can clip her without a
halter on and she just stands there. I think this is
hard to believe.
